When you want to make sure that everything functions smoothly, our plans will help keep your computer running at peak performance all year round.

All of our plans include a PAID subscription to our top ranked Anti-Virus/Anti-Malware software package at no additional charge (normally $69 per year).  The plans also include our full-time remote assistance software package at no additional charge (normally $35 per year).  We also throw in a few useful protection tools at no additional cost.

When you subscribe to one of our plans, we will perform an initial tune-up of your system to make sure that everything is working at peak efficiency. We’ll update your software, install software to backup all of your information, install our anti-malware protective suite (including a 1-year paid anti-virus subscription) and also install our remote assistance software which will allow us to assist you without your computer ever leaving your house/office.

After that, during every maintenance check for the entire year, for no additional cost, we will remotely checkout the Windows OS and remove any malicious software, unwanted programs and generally make sure that Windows is working correctly, is up to date and has all of the protective software installed and operating properly.  We’ll also check your computer backup system to verify that it is operating properly and protecting your information as well as possible.

If something happens which damages the operating system, Mad Dog Computer will recover your entire system setup including the operating system, installed applications and all of your important information from your last backup at no additional cost.

In the unlikely event that there is a hardware problem which needs to be corrected, an additional fee would apply.  Also, this service requires that your computer be able to connect over the Internet, that you have a high speed Internet connection and that you have an external backup hard drive capable of backing up your entire internal hard drive.  If you don’t have a suitable backup hard drive, we can provide one to you at an additional charge.

PRIMARY QUARTERLY PLAN – Maintenance is performed on your computer 4 times a year (every 3 months) and you get 4 no-charge 15-minute remote assistance session (normally $110).

ESSENTIAL CARE MONTHLY PLAN – Includes everything from the Primary Quarterly Plan but, instead of maintenance every 3 months, your computer gets maintained every month.  That is 12 computer maintenances per year.  You also get 6 no-charge 15-minute remote assistance sessions (normally  $165).

TOTAL CARE MONTHLY PLAN – Includes everything in the Essential Care Monthly Plan plus you get 8 no-charge 15-minute remote assistance sessions (normally $220) instead of 6.  You also get continuous cloud-based backup of your critical files at no additional charge (normally $89 per year).

Things you should be aware of:

• Our maintenance plans are subject to our standard terms of service which are available for your review at any time.  By subscribing to one of our plans, you agree to abide by these terms of service.  

•  These plans are designed to reduce the chances of bad things happening to your computer system, or minimizing their impact if they should happen, by proactively monitoring and maintaining your system on scheduled basis. 

• These plans do NOT cover any problems caused by changes other people/companies/scammers implement.  Don’t give anyone other than us access to your computer no matter who they claim to be.  Call us.

• Maintenance is scheduled either quarterly (4 times a year) or monthly (12 times a year), depending on which plan you subscribe to.

• Services required at times other than during your scheduled maintenance will have an additional charge.  There are no refunds or credits for unused services and all services expire at the end of the plan year.

• None of our plans cover hardware malfunctions/failures of any type or the interaction of your computer with devices  and services physically outside of the covered computer such as, but not limited to, peripherals, accessories, cabling, networking and network devices (routers, modems, servers, switches, hubs, etc.)

• Our plans do not cover incompatibilities.  Your computer system is a complex combination of hardware and software produced by a large number of different companies, none of whom we have any control over.  Over time, as software changes are implemented by these companies, various portions of your system may stop functioning properly with other portions of your system causing a situation which we will be unable to fix.

• None of our plans cover the cost of data recovery which require the services of 3rd party entities (data recovery companies, etc.).
